Advancement from Affiliate

• A statutory registration with the Tax Practitioners Board; or
• Successful completion of the IPA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Program; and
• One-year full time experience in a bookkeeping role or BAS Agent role.

Admission

To be eligible for Member IPA (AAT) level with the Institute of Public Accountants, you must hold:

• Australian Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping; or
• Award recognised by the IPA as equivalent in standard and content; and
• A statutory registration with the Tax Practitioners Board; or
• The successful completion of the IPA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Program; and
• One-year full time experience in a bookkeeping or BAS Agent.
